Office 2007: Delivery to PST

This is a known issue with Office 2007 beta 2:

Exchange account is configured to deliver to a PST file but you're not getting any new mails to download, and get an error every minute. Due to some data loss bugs, Exchange mail delivery to a PST file is not supported in Beta2.

Is anyone aware of any work around this ? (Except for stop using Office 2007 )

I myself use exchange with ost, so it is not really a problem. Why do we need to use pst. (I am just wondering because for me ost works fine. Any specific reasons to use pst?)

B'cz of the Exchange Account Size, the account gets filled up pretty quickly if I don't transfer the mails to PST. Thats why i've had PST as he default delivery and all my rules configured around it ...
