have read sumwhr in this forum dat u can o/c ur amd 64 3000+ to 2.6ghz!!! how do i go abt it? plz gv me d tut. wil d warranty still hold? wat abt stability issues?

yes yes the 3000+ can be oc'ed to 2.9GHz!!!

Firts how much ram do u have??
Do not try the following thing unlessu have anything less than 1GB,,,,,

@Gaurav, when you over-clock, there will be over-heating problems. So to cool off
things, you may also add another inlet fan & another outlet fan if there's space
available in the cabinet. Also watch your mobo temp at every level. Very
high temperature levels will fry your mobo!!

i have my PC (amd 3000+ @ Asus A8N Sli Prem + 2x512GB hynex 400MHZ) OCed to 2.6ghz on stock cooling and max temps of 59degrees. it is kinda a trial and error method.

my stable values: cpu_289x9 vid_1.475 htt_3x mem_166@1.65V 3-7-3-3
