so thats a very good option if ur upgradin i must tell u

Get a 9200 or 9550 which should be quite cheap and will play NFS Underground easily.

Amit, if you dont have an AGP slot on your motherboard, you cant install the card. Dont buy the card.

it sucks now, ABIT made the Siluro cards about 6 years back, now they are outdated, however they are still rather good for office & cybercafe, light counter strike

Dude there is NO POINT trying to play NFS U or U2 on a p3 600mhz with a GF2.

Save and get a p4 sumthn or an amd 2x00+ .

1)It probably costs less than 1.5k and the only gfx2 that are made now are probably PCI ones.
2)It cant play the latest games
3)It probably will at low settings. Will have to ask a frnd he had a gfx2 as a back-up solution.
4) Its a AGP card.

Abit Siluro is a ok card, was good when the Gfx2 series was released but u wont be able to play many or rather most games released today. The card is probably clocked @ 175/166 and comes with atleast 32Mb SD ram memory if its a Mx 200 or 64Mb DDR/SD if its a Mx400 . The card has active cooler if its the Gfx 2 MX 400.

if ur upgradin ur mobo... ull be better off with the onboarg graphics than the gf2 ...
ofcourse if u go in for the right mobo that is
and u wont be able to upgrade ur mobo and keep ur processor/ram
so ull have to go in for a whole new combination

What the Hell are you getting you self into !!!

First of all you dont have an AGP slot i presume you have an Intel 810 motherboard or SIS.

The only way you can fit this Geforce2 is if the card is a PCI card and not an AGP card. If you still want to buy a card then i would recommend going for fx5200 PCI .

Let me tell you on thing that these PCI versions are more expensive than their AGP counterparts as they r not readily available by the vendors and they don't provide a smooth performance.

I would suggest that you upgrade your base system. Go for a P4 or AMD 2x00. (You can go for AMD 2x00+ NVidia NForce2 motherboard which has onboard graphix of Geforce 4 MX440 which can satisfy all your current needs and it also has an AGP slot with which you can upgrade to a better Gfx card)

Even if you buy any PCI card you wont be able to play with smooth framerates.

DON'T GO FOR GEFORCE 2 !!!
