Need an App to run on Linux?
A lot of people are converted to the idea of switching to Linux in their data center based on the tremendous cost savings that represents, but find that there are one or two key applications they need to use in their business that are currently not available on Linux. The vendors who create those products need to hear about your needs, but they need more than one or two requests to make it worth their investment.

That's where we come in.

If you've got any critical applications that you MUST be able to use on Linux, please take a minute to let us know what they are. We'll monitor the submissions to see what the most popular requests are, and do what we can to nudge the vendors in that direction. Together, your voices will count for more than they would separately.

Note: If you have more than one product to request, you'll need to fill out a separate submission form for each one. We may contact you via email for additional information if your request is particularly intriguing.

Thank you for helping us grow the Linux marketplace!

I had tried nero a whileback on Slackware. IMO it still lags far behind K3B. They have a lot of work to do before the reach the Numero Uno status in Linux world.
Coming to novell, itrs a cool idea. This shows the agressive maketing followed by Novell, they are really emerging leaders in Enterprise level linux solutions.

BTW, Is dual layer burning possible in k3b??
I was able to burn singlemode DVD-R's ONLY using incremental mode.
The advantage of dual layer DVD's is that, we can combine several livecd's into a single isolinuz boot structure for booting into multiple os'es whereas in dvd-r's i can only dualboot knoppix with one installation distro(FC4 or SuSe). I distribute it to my friendz :D

Argh! NeroLINUX is a crap, apart being propeitary. You need a valid Nero for Windows License for that.

It uses old GTK+ interface, Has a little options at all. No support for anything other than a Data CD and Audio CD.

K3B is now being a defacto standard for CD/DVD Burning. Two features I love to see in K3B is support for copying CDs containing multiple data tracks and an inbuilt mpeg encoder.
