Right off the assembly line
i m using norton antivirus 2005 .can anyone tell me how can i backup my updates . I have been using automatic updates and as such i do not have a backup of my updates.

I dont think they are really that essential. I think norton does not update in one file rather just copies on the new definitions of the old files. There are some other upgradations too from time to time. Even if you find where they are stored i think it is next to impossible to use these files when re-installing norton again.
