Norton Antivirus updates backup

My NAV 2006 definitions are upto date. But now I plan to reinstall the OS (win xp). So is thr anyway with which I can take backup of d NAV updates?

Hey have you updated the nav through the software only or you have download the update from a link

It's store in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs\" folder

You can take it's backup ..
Although I havent tried it myself .. I've heard it works
I'm not sure though

alib_i that never works because for each update it make one entry in regstry for to identify update date so ......
