When I plug in my earphones (using the nokia AD-41 adaptor) I can hear some hissing noise even though nothing is running and playing.
When I start playing audio I can still hear this noise in the background and When a song starts or ends there is a loud tick noise...
Anyone else notice this?

i am using the original nokia ( HS-28 ) headset that was comming with the phone.
What can i do? Pleas help me.. :(

There is no problem with the headset. The problem lies within the phone. Future firmwares will definitely solve the problem.

Keep checking the NSU regularly for the Firmware update.
As pointed out int he Changelog, the problem is with the Firmware.

You can also go to the nearest Nokia Care center near you and ask which is the latest firmware available for your cell and if the newer version is available, then get your cell updated.

Have you checked your sources. I'm talking about the music files you are playing. I know I may sound silly but i've faced similar problem with one of my friend. His songs bitrate was too low and hissing noise was there. But when I used a freshly encoded song directly from original CD it was playing ok. So ensure that isn't the case.

And check your headphone on another phone if possible. Just to check that headphone is not faulty.

If that isn't the case then visit a Service Center to check your headset.

Else wait for the next firmware update and see if it solves your problem.
