    No ..

    Since it is made for 850/1800 network in Same US states

    whereas in India we have 900/1800 network only

    Yes....you are right.....I was indeed looking for E398 or 6230......and now I have decided to go for the e398 soon.......

    Meanwhile someone else has dumped me with his old Nokia 3595 which he won't be needing any more......so just wanted to know whether that can be used in India or not.
