NFS over LAN ?

What my friend and i were planning was to play NFS most wanted over LAN.
Now i really have no idea how we gonna do this
We both hv broadband connections but no information as how to play against each other over LAN.
Any help ?

unless you two have original copy of NFS MW, you cant LAN.

i tried wit a frnd, but cudn't get it to work.

but if they have a BB conxn .. cant they do it like Counter strike ?? one will be a host & other will be a client .. & their other frnds will also be able to join them ...
i mean using a game server. not sure abt NFS though..

Thats wot im asking. There are 2 options in the main menu of game

LAN PLAY
and
ONLINE PLAY

For online play we need EA account but for LAN play it does not asks for any username and simply starts searching for LAN servers.
Also u get option to create a server.

to make a lan server u have to be connected to each other thru one router

for online play u can be connected thru internet .. thts not possible coz this feature requires genuine copies of NFS .. right??

& im sure ur frnd must be far away from u & u wont be able to make a LAN ..

lan possible only wen u r conneccted via ethernet cable or wireless network....for bb over internet u need 2 use online play n check for servers...n ya u need legal copies and hv 2 register an account b4 joining

If you both have unlimited connection then use hamachi.
Don't bug me about it search net it will help you too play NFS but you need to have diffirent cd-keys to play.

Hamachi 'emulates' LAN using internet.

Yes, Windows Remote Login does work over Hamachi.

^^lol I dint say u were bugging me actually what happens is when you tell anybody about hamachi a lot of questions crop out.....so I said instead of bugging me search net about hamachi.

^^dunno what you are talking about.
Just make a server using hamachi....ask your frind to join your server using hamachi.......Both start your games......select LAN......then play on.It is pretty simple but sometimes IP's need to be resolved and blah and blah.

what i m saying is .. windows remote login is also a VPN client & creates a secure lan conxn between 2 comps with internet internet.

so WIN REMOTE LOGIN is just like HAMACHI .. & he can use WIN REMOTE LOGIN instead of hamachi .. is tht right ??

I don't know.....I have only used hamachi and it works flawlessly for me.....and besides hamachi is made for gaming.
