whenever i start nfs 7 hot pursuit2 on my system my monitor goes blank with cursor on it and then again it flickers and i get the following errors:

when i press abort button it closes the application i.e game
when i press Retry or Ignore button i get another error

I have tried to reinstall game many times. i have also restarted my computer many times. i have no antivirus installed on my computer. also my frien is running on 128 mb ram cerelon and mercury motherboard is running this game smoothly with all its effects to their maximum.
but this game runs on xp but very slowly even after decreasing every effect to minimun.
also plz tell me how to share my ram up to 128mb on my system, the details of my system is as follows:
