    VIA has released a new chipset called K8T890 which brings the PCI xpress for AMD 64 bit processors.It supports a whopping 1GHz FSB,RAID,Dual channel SATA,6/8 channel audio with a 933 pin BGA package and more.

    OK!! but nForce4 SLI is a better option as it has 2 PCI-E slots which when used increases performance till 70% and its introductory cost (I m talkin bout Asus A8N SLI) is near to 180$ which in india may b'cum 10~13K. if VIA is not cheaper than this it Sucks. moreover the performance of nVidia boards is way ahead VIA especially 4 Athlon64/Athlon64 FX. and they hav mistyped 933BGA it has 2 be 939. (U did the same as well) :lol:

    I think what was meant was that the packaging of the South Bridge (VIA VT8237) is a 933 Ball Grid Array. This is not the same as the Socket 939 used by the newer Athlon 64 and Athlon Fx processors. :)
