Umm.. Avast was vista compatible even before RC1 of vista!

The released Windows Vista compatible version is 4.7.981. It was released on 15 Apr 2007.

Now I realised that the release news is already 1 month old. I apologize for the delayed post.

Umm.. Wrong again!

Here it says minimum version compatible with vista is v4.7.892

And when we go to the version history page, it says v4.7.892 was released on September 25, 2006

Avast was actually the FIRST vista compatible antivirus.

Nice and Fine ...The First AV made compatible for Vista was NOD32...as soon it was launched!

my Avast build is 4.7-1001 on my Vista Ultimate it got automatically update atlesat 2 weeks above and Avast was the first AV to support Vista
