Suggest a new PC for 28k.

I currently have a P4 1.7GHz, Intel 845 chipset, 2*128MB RAM, Sony DVD Writer, Samsung DVD ROM, 20GB HDD, 40GB HDD, 300W SMPS.
The onboard graphics of the system seem to be corrupted.

So, now i am contemplating buying a new PC (except keyboard, mouse, DVD Writer in about 28K.
I have thought out some components but better suggestions are always welcome.

Processor: Intel Core2Duo E6320
Motherboard: (no idea which is best)
RAM: DDR2 1*1GB (what frequency, company shud be preferred??)
HDD: Seagate 250GB SATA2
will also keep d current 40GB HDD. Not 2 keen on RAID 0 though, coz as far as i read, it leads to better data transfer speeds, but has higher data loss risks.
Cabinet + SMPS: (wot power rating PSU may i need?)
Monitor: DELL 19" CRT (a shopkeeper quoted it at Rs3800, so it seemed a bargain to me...)
Speakers: Creative Inspire 2.1 speakers
UPS: (no idea, wot rating etc i may need)

Intended use: Internet, some gaming (NFSMW, NFSC shud run at good rates), music listening, project works for college etc, movies. Vista shud be able to run with Aero easily.
I dont know much about overclocking etc, but i am intrigued by it and may OC with STOCK COOLING. Kindly mention safe limits to which E6320 can be OCed without significant decrease in component life.
Also plz mention prices of all components tht u recommend.

Thanks a lot.

Here is what a certain vendor quoted me:
Intel E6320: 8100+tax
Intel 946 chipset: 3950+tax
Kingston 1GB DDR2@667MHz: 2400
Seagate SATA2 250GB HDD: 3150
Cabinet+SMPS: 900
UPS: APC: 2200

Are the prices fine?

(I might go in for a 17/19" CRT/TFT later. For now, i will use my 15"CRT

Creative Inspire 2.1: 1900

I did some research and found that maybe the Intel G965 chipset is better than the 946.
I need a mobo with gud onboard gfx (to run NFSMW, NFSC, Vista with Aero) and sound card. I will b using 1 SATA2 HDD, 1 old (IDE) HDD, 1 DVD ROM, 1 DVD Writer. So mobo shud hv adequate slots. + min 3-4 USB ports.

also, preferably the system shud support OCing the CPU to some extent

Total budget now: (Proccy+mobo+RAM+HDD+Cabinet+SMPS+UPS+Speakers)= 24k.

So kindly advise on a suitable rig.

Thanks

What do think abt this config?? Are prices quoted OK?

cool....but with onboard graphics u wont b able to play NFS MW n carbon...
why dont you go for an MSI mobo based on intel g965? better to buy from other brands than intel coz they have more features...

go for the same chipset.... intel g965 supports the whole line from celeron d, pentium d to core duo and core 2 duo...... also it supports the quad cores

therefore go for intel g965 based MSI mobo.....
got it dude.......

happy buying

PS: (erm ur earlier question.... i had the same prob few months ago)
