    have you heard about Sun's new IDE netBeans? its a 36MB download on sun's website? tell me more about it!! is it as good as the Microsoft's .NET Framework ??

    Nope... Netbeans is not all that good... I tried it some 6 months back... Its interface builder is still buggy... I faced a particular problem while adding layout to the frame... however it is still a great software... do try it out...

    dont think IntelliJ is freeware by the way...might be wrong...anyways u guys should look a Eclipse. Damn good IDE and also has pretty rich community and has support for a lot of other programming laguages as well. Netbeans isnt that bad....but better IDE's are outhere!!
