Ive got a bluetooth 2.0 USB donggle, according to the manual it says the range is 100 mtrs. My question is can I make a network with my neighbour which is about 20 mtrs from my room and if so, will i be able to play a network games like age of empire III without problem, will the data transfer rate be too slow???

Playing games would not be possible because of the slow rate of data transfer, although you can use the blue tooth dongle to create a network over which you can transfer files of any size, although large files will take ages to get transferred...Anyways, a network over a bluetooth dongle is a very cheap way to set-up a temporary network...

A word of caution: Although the dongle packing may claim that it is effective over a distance of 100 metres, remember that these things NEVER work for a distance more than 50 metres....That 100 metres range is never achieved...
