what the ?
hmmm .... are u using this cable to connect to ur isp or ur LAN ?
if ISP then its a problem from ur isp's side ... they must be doing some maintainence

if its for ur lan ... and ur repeatedly gettin this problem try uninstalling ur lan card from device manager frmo control panel and then reinstalling it

probably the connection (i.e. cables are not in parallel ) is not ok or one of the (eight) cable is not having a metal contact....look closely...

 go to device manager > network adapter

 right click on the name of ur NIC card,nd then properties

 go to advanced tab on top row,nd in there u'll find on the left side
a property thats "media type" or "connection speed" etc...that varies according to the manufacturer
click on it,nd on the right hand drop down menu choose autodetect, instead of 10BaseT,100BaseT etc...

restart nd check it out...plug-in nd plug-out is due to mismatch in connection speeds between 2 machines...
