Guys...While installing xp it is showing an error that my motherboard is not ACPI complient.I am using SIS motherboard which is ACPI complient.Then again during instalation I am adviced to pressed F7 to avoid ACPI driver installation.Then after loading all the drivers,pc restarts and I need to do all over again....Its not allowing me to format and install xp...I've tried almost all the tips by searching the forum like setting the bios to default or removing the CMOS ..But then also it doesn't works....

Hi.....try these as well ;
Disable APM in the bios.
Enable parallel port in bios(if not already done)
Disable legacy usb support.
Set CDROM as 1st boot device.
Change to a lower acpi version in bios.
