I have a new dell IN1930 monitor,i ball i9090 cabinet with smps and vguard slender plus 600 as ups.
Recently the monitor is starts to blink for two or three seconds. The processes are not interrupted nor the audio.
But the screen blinks only when the 'click' sound from ups is heard (relay).
What is the problem? I have warranty for both monitor and ups.

Still try to keep your UPS in a farthest position possible and observe. BTW does this prob crops up recently or from the beginning of the setup?

The problem was always there.one thing i forgot to say was
the blinking stops when i decreased the resolution to very low.
I think about 1024*768.
But that is not the max my dell monitor can be viewed.right??
The problem gets back when i increased resolution

BMG ftw!!
Check the max resulution of the monitor. If the blinking happens in lower resolution than that, then change reset resolution from system panel.
P.S. Are you using VGA/ D-sub conenctor?

click sound? I assume thats ur UPS regulating the voltage output due to rise/fall and so restrict out attention to MR UPS.

Change the socket to which the moniter power cable is plugged in the UPS. Observe if the same happens. Then try to borrow a friends UPS and see if the same occurs

Let us know. CHeers!

^^ athul: try to operate the moniter by powering it from anyother source apart from the UPS and let us know the results.

Probably your UPS is the culprit check if the connection is loose it happens to me sometimes or check the monitor cable if it is connected firmly into CPU

What connector?
I just connect my tv to ups and it works just fine.
TV takes more current from my pc.
So now i think the problem is my monitor.
