I have few movie clips taken from handy cam,
but some part of those 1 hour movies have distortion or unrequired part.

Can some1 tell me a good software to remove a few minutes of video from the AVI file, so that I can burn the remaining on the dvd.

Regards

^^K-Lite to edit stuff? :confused:

If you are a Windows User, then use Windows Movie Maker. Simple and good enough.

its obvious dat k-lite is only if the files dont read in virtualdub.. stop asking stupid questions "^^K-Lite to edit stuff? "

@rollcage - u can try to convert the videos using a video converter (use google to search for a converter) then edit them in an editor

@nvidia - dude klite is just the codes .. i hav oviously installed the klite mega codec pack 2.80. but its just codecs not a software application to edit the stuff

@SystemError
ya i can use some soft like xilisoft or autogk may be to convert it,
but i dont wat to convert it.

Its good at it is, I just want to remove some portion from the movie,
e.g. where the hand is coming on the lens, or there something bad in the video.
just to remove 10 secs or 15 seconds from the video and keeping the remaining 50minutes file.
now what u say!!
