Right off the assembly line
I have Just Completed My Class 12th, and I have to buy a Laptop with 3rd/4th Gen Core i5 and Nvidia Graphics for Medium Gaming.
I am thinking to get HP Pavilion 15 N208tx: http://www.flipkart.com/hp-pavilion...U&otracker=search&pageNum=1&query=hp+pavilion

Any Other Suggestions from Experts?

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What
all applications and games are you going to
run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office
work' will not work. Be exact. Which games?
Which applications? Avoid the word 'et
cetera.')
Ans: Medium Gaming (AC 3, NFS Run, Rage, SR the third, Gta IV), Compiling From Android Sources

2. What is your overall budget? If you can
extend a bit for a more balanced configuration,
then mention this too.
Ans: 40-45k, Can expand 2-3k more

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to
use?
Ans:Ubuntu 13.10 + Win8.1

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes,
please mention which screen size and
resolution do you want. If you already have a
monitor and want to reuse it, again mention
the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:No, It's a Laptop

7. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:1-2 Weeks

8. Where do you live? Are you buying locally?
Are you open to buying stuff from online shops
if you don't get locally?
Ans: Patna, Bihar. Buying locally

That laptop is not good for gaming cause its processor is 4200U not 4200M.... U processors are power saving processors which r used for light tasks..

GB doesn't matter . No. Of cuda cores, clock speeds and architecture do matter

P.S. I can run bf4 at ultra

Even I can run Crysis 3 on the my old laptop. It's a different thing that it gives 1-2 fps.
Bf4 on ultra in Gt 740m is not playable.

I get around 20-30fps with ssao/hbao off and no AA

High is better at playing yeah

Oh that makes sense. You should have clarified that earlier ^.^
AA is by far one of the most demanding setting imo.

Thanks Guys for help, as i said Heavy gaming isn't my thing. I can manage with few years older games on low or medium graphic setting. And as i heard 4200U has good battery backup and can manage medium gaming, i want to ask if AMD Radeon 8670M can manage my need or not.

Go ahead.
I would never recommend that no but it's your money and no one can stop you. Dell 2013 laptops are really trash.

U processors lags in half a year.... My friend had a HP lap having 4200u proccy....4 months old... Now lagging like hell... So better stock to M processors irrespective of battery backup

Interesting, so by that logic my 8 year old desktop with a Pentium D Processor shouldn't even start right ?

Thanks for your Concern, i have also heard that Mid-Range Dell laptops doesn't last longer but I was asking that AMD 8670M GPU is good enough for medium gaming or not.
