Planning to buy a new hard disk and i just happened to find that the current hard disk in my pc is of ATA and not SATA so i wanted to know if this two are compatible or not so like can i still use SATA drive? I'm trying to go for Seagate Baracuda 7200.9 (160 gb) or Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (320 gb). Would also like to know what are the other specs that i should be looking for, in case i wanted to get a new graphic card and also if there's anymore spec i should be taking a look at for HDD on account of compability for my computer that is. Thanks!

Why isn't anybody answering? Isn't ATA and SATA different? I'm not very familiar with hardwares so......

You will have to check your Motherboard if it support SATA or not. As for graphic card....same thing...check your MOBO if has AGP or PCI-E slot. After that, you can decide what to go for
