Hai guyssssss :)

I'm going to get a new laptop in january 2014 as my Bday gift..
most of the time i will use it for playing games, internet browsing and watching movies..

Questionnaire for laptop/notebook purchase:

1) What is your budget? (INR)-
33-38k

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
• 15" - 16" screen.

3) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this Laptop?
Watching 1080p movies, playing games like Need for Speed(Most Wanted, Run, Shift), GTA and for internet browsing

4) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Yes, this one.
Intel i3 or i5(3rd generation) or AMD A10 quadcore,
1 TB harddisk - 8GB DDR3 RAM
(1-2)GB Graphics memory card(best)..may be NVIDIA or whichever is best(i dont know much about GPU)
4-5 hours of battery backup

if any other laptop is there with this configuration means please tell me guys..i would be thankful to you :)

5) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Lenovo, Dell
b. Dislike: HP

6) Anything else you would like to say?
• Purchase place ( Flipkart, amazon or stores(I live in Bangalore)).
Lappy with DOS or without OS is preferred since i can save some bucks there.
And also it wil be great if the keyboard backlit is there.

Also i have Checked this laptop and read several reviews about this one..
Lenovo Essential G505s(59-380146)

Some of the reviews says that..
1. Intel i5(3rd gen) > AMD A10 quadcore > Intel i3(3rd gen) ...is dat so???
2. This laptop has more heating problems.

Is this wil be suitable enough for my needs???

Thanks in advance

Go for Lenovo Essential G505s (59-380146) Laptop because it has got better processor i.e. 5750M vs 4600M in HP and also you stated that you dislike HP.

Im also thinking of buying that one only...
but i do have one more doubt in my mind..

The Lenovo Essential G505s (59-379862) is priced 33490 in Flipkart and Lenovo Essential G505s (59-380146) is priced 37990 in Flipkart...both have the same configuration except the processor.

In lenovo 379862, AMD A8 processor 5550M is used(turbo boost upto 3.1ghz) and
in lenovo 380146, AMD A10 processor 5750M is used(turbo boost upto 3.4ghz)

Does it worth keeping extra 4k for the A10 processor?
or else shall i go for lenovo 379862 which is also good??

if i go with lenovo 379862 means i can use that 4000 bucks on cooling pad, pendrive n for other laptop accessories.
right na??

For everyday tasks like web browsing, e-mail, looking at photos, listening to music and watching videos it's not worth it to go for AMD A10. You wouldn't notice the difference.
For light gaming it's worth upgrading because laptop CPUs and GPUs are so much weaker than desktop versions to begin with, and they cannot be upgraded later. So you'll want to get the best components your budget allows.

In terms of raw CPU power, the A10 5750M is about 15% faster than the A8 5550M. In overall laptop processor benchmarks, the A10 5750M ranks #153 overall while the A8-5550M is #170 overall.
But of greater importance to gaming is the difference between the built-in graphics. The A8-5550M has an integrated Radeon HD 8550G, which ranks #203 overall among laptop graphics cards. The A10-5750M has an integrated Raden HD 8650G, which ranks #155 overall.
Better go for Lenovo Essential G505s (59-380146) Laptop (APU Quad Core A10/ 8GB/ 1TB/ DOS/ 2.5GB Graph).
