my system hangs when i'm on the net for a considerable time!

i have 2800 amd athlon, 120 gb hdd with 512 ram runnin on winxp pro


mine is a cable internet conn,when i use internet for about 15 or 20 mins,the other icons on my desktop do not respond when i click on em........i get errors aftersometime and my desktop just vanishes....

only the windows open can be used for browsing (ctrl-n)

plz help.............i got norton2003 updated everyday,quickheal on another boot and webroot spy sweeper.............i jus dnt get it!!!
