Right off the assembly line
There are virtually countless softwares available in virtual world.
But there are rare softwares that moves us.
One such software I am going to talk about is Jalbum(*jalbum.net).
I have great admiration for this software and its creator, David Ekholm.
That's why I have created this thread to express my heart.
This software lets user create Photoalbum which is to be run in Browser.

Plus Points:
(1)Interface is neatly detailed and easy to understand.
(2)Robust, because made with java.
(3)Platform independent, because made with java.
(4)Beautiful appearances with beautiful graphics.
(5)And finally best thing about this software is, in author's words.
"It's free and that's no bull.
No expiration dates.
No nag screens.
No adware.
No spyware.
No bad conscience :)"

Minus Point:
None, according to me.

I just love this software.
David Ekholm created really useful software.
Great job David.

This is my story about this software.
Please share similiar story with me here.

Warm Regards
Varun Ashish Kumar

Another Such Sofware is VirtualDUB

VirtualDub is a video capture/processing utility for 32-bit Windows platforms (95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP), licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.
