MSI 'Wind' - EEE PC got a contender

MSI has released their 'Wind' NBs to contend the ultra portable NB segment. It clearly resembles the EEE PC 9 incher, but its specs are more promising than the later like the HDD instead of SSD, a 6 cell battery, inbuilt bluetooth module and so.

Techtree has some details regards its specs, release and pricing.

Engadget has confirmed its US release. The site also mentions that the 'Wind' has a linux (SuSE) variant for $399

Lets hope it soon arrives by us.

If you had read the links that have been posted you would have known that it will be available for around 21k in India!

It's gonna be 21k in India. Which is about 2-3k less than the expected price of the EEE 901. It's gonna be great competition.

21k is quite high i think, because Zenith gives 1.86 dual core, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD.... for 22-23k.

But its not ultra-thin

it will surely be tough . . but as the competition rises prices are bound to come down
