mouse cursor seems to disappear

I have got a windows 2000 server P4 PC. The problem is that the cursor seem to disappear and just as suddenly appear. What is the reason. How to prevent this problem?

If the cursor disappears while typing, then its not a problem but a feature of win 2000/XP/2003.
U can disable it by going to:

Start -> Run and type main.cpl

And in Pointer Options tab, uncheck the option saying "Hide Pointer while typing..

does it means pressing control show u circles to indicate ur cursor position or are u really find an irritating prob with ur mouse .

Try the above mentioned way , i too feel the problem is with keyboard / mouse settings in control panel .
