Moto GP '07 Announced for PC/Xbox 360

THQ has announced that it will release MotoGP '07, the latest game in their acclaimed motorcycle racing sim series, for the PC and Xbox in fall 2007. Featuring new modes, tracks and customisation options, it looks like the bar will be raised yet again for racing enthusiasts.

The newest installment in the critically acclaimed series features the complete 2007 MotoGP season and an improved "race day" experience that captures the excitement and spectacle of a live MotoGP event. MotoGP '07 will also add all-new bikes, tracks, and enhanced customization options building on the popular "Extreme" mode that allows players to race on city streets around the world.

MotoGP '07 is the definitive next-generation motorcycle racing title, delivering the most authentic MotoGP racing experience to date. Featuring life-like visuals, complete 2007 rider and team data, new 800cc MotoGP bikes and the newly-announced Misano event, the game's GP mode will be more robust than ever before. The title will also feature interactive track-side crowds, intense on-line tournament features, on-line "pink-slip" racing, a revamped Extreme mode and significantly more bike and player customization options.

This year will indeed turn out to be even better as Superbike 2007 is appearing for the first time after its 2001 incarnation.
ANd i really loved it and so a competion for MotoGp

Heres the official word

Superbike 2007 is the official World Superbike Championship simulation, so it's going to feature all the 2007 season tracks, bikes, teams and riders. Of course Milestone has a track record with these kinds of games as developer of the Superbike series from 1991 to 2001, so it's nice to have the opportunity to develop the game for 2007. Right now we are focusing on PS2 and PSP versions; this will be the first PSP title for Milestone to that is exciting for us.\
Yes, there are going to be PC and Xbox 360 versions coming later on next year, I think around November.

Modes
You've got quick race mode, to just pick up the pad and play; you will have time attack mode where you can race against the clock and also be able to unlock some ghost laps from the people developing the game. Then of course we will have the full race weekend mode so you can play every aspect of that from practice, qualifying, through to superpole and then race one & race two. We will have the full championship in there so you can take a rider through an entire season. Finally we will also have separate challenges which you can play to build your skills with and unlock different things.

Well the screens Moto GP 07 does not look very impressive , specially the second pic , the driver is driving on a shiny glass road , not a wet road. looks fake to the extreme. BUt wait... the third one looks impressive .

Need For Speed :- Underground, Underground 2 and Most Wanted has those shiny glass road if you set the graphics card to high.

btw there's no MW2.

& above all its a Arcade game, we cant talk much about realism in those games

about SBK07 - the pics are from a PS2 version, right?, maybe PS2 cant handle much of today's gfx. (like in GTA SA PS2, u cant see CJ's reflection on floors).

well Dude, you do Pimp Your Ride , get Chased by Cops ...

IMO NFS is not as challenging as it was in NFS 5, 6.

blame it on the Project Director, Producers...

NFS can be made really interesting by adding Missions like Car Delivery like in Porsche Unleashed, add the Cops now, Missions like in which you too work for Cops in Nailing down the Punk Racers .

& for God's sake they should throw out the BullSh1t ARCADE Style Racing or Atleast give an Option of Selecting either Arcade mode or Simulation mode like in "X-Pand Rally Xtreme".

NFSU totally had a unrealistic look , and this MGP07 is even more glassy than the nfsu game. The glassy road does not fit well with the other elements of the screen shot , it looks odd.
