1st check whether Ur mobo supports agp card coz some 845 motherboards
have some kind of warning labled on their agp slot not to use a graphics
card. If Ur mobo has nothing like that then follow these steps:

Uninstall the onboard graphics driver

POWER DOWN THE COMPUTER

1.Remove the AGP card & clean the AGP slot

2.Insert the agp card into the slot

3.Clear your mobos CMOS settings(ie bios settings) by jumper

>-<))))) See Ur mobos manual for Step No.3 & 4 ((((((>-<

4.Sit the jumper caps in the right place

5.Now start Ur Comp, Now it should boot & give U display

I have a Mercury PI845GLM-AGP board with 5200 Gfx card(AGP)
When i insert this Gfx card it gave me the same prob & I solved it
by the above steps.

there is no AGP on "UNIT DISPLAY SYSTEM". Only PCI and ONBOARD. When i select PCI it give output to onboard not on the card
