Well!
When you are looking for a motherboard, its not very easy to decide which one to go for. You should consider atleast the following when buying a mobo.

1. look for the chipset it supports.

2. look for the processors that it supports or can support for future upgrades.

3. look for the physical placement of the components in the board itself. And mainly consider looking at the chipset placement.

4. look for the no. of expansion slots it has.

5. look for the manufacturer and warranty and packing it comes with.

This are the primary things one should look for when looking for a good mobo besides other things.

No pain....No gain
1) Look for component layout.
2) Upgrade option.
3) Expansion slot.
4) What latest techonology/types hardware it supports.
5) Reputed company and warranty.
6) Most importantly ur budget and requirement.

Pretty much as to what Tech&ME has suggested.
