Missing Folder option in Window XP

Folder options disappear due to registry problems, Group policy edit or Virus problems. Before we suggesting a solution, it's always better to analyse first.

open regedit.
go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
set the dword "NoFolderOptions" to 0

Goto start>Run>type 'regedit' and enter.
In the Registry Editor windows, goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Policies>Explorer
Theres an entry named NoFolderOptions in the right pane. Double click it and change its value to 1.
This will work.
