Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware(Beta) Released

Microsoft recently launched the beta version of the much awaited AntiSpyware. Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) is a security technology that helps protect Windows users from spyware and other potentially unwanted software. Known spyware on your PC can be detected and removed. This helps reduce negative effects caused by spyware, including slow PC performance, annoying pop-up ads, unwanted changes to Internet settings, and unauthorized use of your private information. Continuous protection improves Internet browsing safety by guarding more than 50 ways spyware can enter your PC. Participants in the worldwide SpyNet community play a key role in determining which suspicious programs are classified as spyware. Microsoft researchers quickly develop methods to counteract these threats, and updates are automatically downloaded to your PC so you stay up to date.

I downloaded the software. N when i ran it, i found out that it could scan n remove even those spywares which popular programs, like AdAware n SpyBot, could'nt!

I downloaded the software. N when i ran it, i found out that it could scan n remove even those spywares which popular programs, like AdAware n SpyBot, could'nt!

i have commented on the program. the earlier post did'nt have em

MS and anti spyware - Nah I will never believe them cuz it may install a bigger spyware in disguise.

no tuxian! believe it this time! da ms guys hv come out with sumthing really gud - N IT'S FREE !!! Its been a long time now, that iv seen anything coming free from microsoft, except da updates ofcourse!

I primarily use Ad aware, & according to it, my PC is clean, no adwares, also I don't get SPAM anymore, well, belive me no more, 0

I recently used Spybot S& D from digit CD, hmm, it found those DAP 5.3 Gifs & a few DAP registry keys as adwares, well, I have DAP registered, so no spam from there, still good that it found something

Then ran MS Antispyware, found nothing, none, nada, 0 as adware, but it took a really long time to compleate the scan, over all there are a few thing i hated

1) Clunky interface,

2) I cannot select remove all at one go

well since it is beta so I won't say a thing, however, seems promising, but as already said it will be paid, so I don't think many people will go for it, compared to Ad Aware & Spybot which are already established
