Microsoft To Offer Office 2008 For Mac OS


"Microsoft has announced the newest version of its business and productivity software suite, Office, will be available for Apple's Macintosh operating system.

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is expected to be available in the second half of 2007, and will provide Mac users with tools designed to be simple, intuitive and easily discovered - to help them work smarter and more efficiently. We are excited to get this next version out as another example of our team's dedication to building leading-edge products for the Mac platform."

Microsoft Office is a very good product. The new ribbon interface is a real winner. It's really really good.

Hanging, since 2004..
Actually the new interface of the next office installment is too confusing/irritating :D, although i have used it only 2-3 times , but the reviews are that the new interface is really useful. Lets see..

it is not going to have the same Ribbon UI of Windows version. Insted it will have a more Mac-ish UI in the form of element containers or something. Don't know the name though
