hey guys, how do i back up all the contacts in microsoft outlook 2002? i wanted 2 format ma comp, due 2 vich all ma contacts wud be deleted.

HOW DO I SAVE ALL MY CONTACTS IN MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2002 ?

i think its due to GMail uses secure (SSL) connection with it's POP services...

log in to ur gmail account and then settings>pop settings and look for help link about configuring mail clients/services....

this will help....

write back if failed...

Do this thing
Outlook > File > Import and Export
Select Export to a File
Select Personal Folder file (.pst)
Select Personal Folders in the next dialog box .. Personal Folder will backup all your mails along with Contacts and Calender and Notes too ..
Be sure to check Include Subfolders too ..
Save the file where you wanna save it ..

When you are done with formatting, Just reverse the process .. Select Import from File Menu and select this file ...
