Virtual PC is a software thats created by Microsoft which competes itself against VM Ware Workstation

Responding to developers' wishes to be able to run both Internet Explorer 6 and 7 side-by-side, Microsoft has launched a Virtual PC (VPC) image of Windows XP Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer 6, and the IE7 Readiness Toolkit.

will someone please explain about this
Virtual PC enables you to install Operating Systems in a virtual manner just as how you would do it in a normal system

You can have Windows 2000,Windows 2003 and Windows XP all installed in a Single Machine using Virtual PC enabling them to run simultaneously
This of course requires good hardware configuration

yup... one very good implimatention would be keeping the system virus free... use the VPC XP to surf the net :) so if effected than no problem delete and start over again...

and then again offcouse the main use of Testing (i love this part)... so no fear of lossing data :)

aslo as VMware grew MS made the VPC Free
