It is a spyware in fact. use a cleaner and tell the reports please. Coz the messenger service doesnt show all this stuff...

I have norton 2005( which has protection against adware as well as spywares ) installed , updated regularly and scanned too. still why the problem occures ?

anyway, the solution given by kalpik was perfect and i could get rid of those horrifying messages by every now & then.

anything else is required to do ? or whatever done was sufficient ?

@everyone: No, its not virus, spyware, adware, poop! It was just the messenger service! And there is no way you can get infected through the messenger service.

@shreyadr: If im not wrong, you dont have Service Pack 2 Installed. Install it as soon as possible, and install a good firewall. Also run a full system scan just in-case ;)
