Right off the assembly line
Hi all, I have HP Pavilion dv6500 series laptop with Windows Vista as factory installed......I installed windows 7 in it....installation was successfull & now i can use windows 7.......

Then I tried to install basic windows XP on my machine so i tried to boot my laptop with the bootable windows xp CD.....following steps took place....

1.> Press any key to boot from CD..... I hit enter
2.> Blue screen came with default load setup
3.> But now when it has to select the partition for my HDD it says.....

SETUP CANNOT CONTINUE BECAUSE IT DIDNOT FIND ANY HARDDISK. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HARDDISK IS PROPERLY INSTALLED & CONNECTED. THIS CAN BE DUE TO MANUFACTURER INSTALLED PROGRAM OR SOFTWARE.

PRESS F3 TO QUIT THE SETUP.

4.> Then I tried to make some changes in BIOS thought it will help me to allow some changes in HDD mode from RAID to SATA or something. But it doesn't have that option in BIOS......& i have seen written as FACTORY INSTALLED OS as VISTA...but i cannot alter the changes in it.

PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME....TO MAKE MY LAPTOP JAILBREAK WITH VISTA........:???:
