the log is alright......
ur system is showing 100% CPU usage, mostly because of Kaspersky Anti Hacker Firewall...
To check this, it's not enough to disable it at starup, but u have to uninstall it....after uninstalling the Kaspersky Anti Hacker, check the CPU usage.....

He could also do the same with WindowBlinds, and see if the CPU usage goes down. Better yet, go to the Task Manager (hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc) go to Processes and hit the CPU list to order it and see which process is using up max CPU. That should give you a clue as to which program is causing the trouble.

And btw ... There is not a single KAV process listed .. Did it crashed or you shut it down ..?

Umm, what's this then? Never worked with KAVPF before, but does it run additional processes as well?

KAVPF is Kaspersky Anti Hacker Personal Firewall, it's not a process of Kaspersky Anti Virus.....
i think that's what batty is asking.....

In the zone
I has a similar problem with kav its heavy on resources and when windows blinds is also added not to mention.

i removed win blinds and became a lil smoother and removed firewall became still smoother and now i get all i need form my comp

all of 512 ram p4 2.8 YUP !

BattY These firewalls are use less ! keep same habits !

Umm, this is a classic misunderstanding. I know very well what KAV and KAVPF expand to, thank you very much. :D What I failed to understand was that Mr. Bruce Wayne was asking it with reference to this line.

Kaspersky anti hacker and antivirus was on wen i scanned this

I missed that word, and thats the word he was asking about. Come on, guys, I'm really not THAT dumb to not know which program is which. :D All I wanted to know was if KAVPF had built-in antivirus services like ZoneAlarm Pro + Antivirus in which case, it would be a single service/process, or was it a suite like Norton Internet Security wherein they were bundled as a single product but ran different processes for the AV and the firewall programs.

Lol .. No problems :) ..

@ Vijay .. KAV PF is a good firewall .. it uses very small resources and it have some good features too ..

Personally I dont prefer Kaspersky Antivirus for the fact it uses hell lotta resources .. scans soooooooooooo slowly .. blah blah ..

Hmm.. Norton 2005 is way better in performance according to me .. I havent used Nod32 as yet but have heard quite good things about it ..
