Ans:Will be using for 3d rendering such as vray , mental ray , maya vray and composting for particles... Priority for work and will play games too but not much...

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:40k but can extend till 50kmax

Ans:no

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1 TB will be enough

Ans:yes I need to buy a monitor minimum 21"

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:it will be totally new machine .. so i will need all the parts...

Ans:as I get a proper config

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:assembler

Ans:mumbai ,I will be buy mostly locally but if I am getting any discounts so I am open to buy online also

Ans:I need Intel based PC with minimum 1 GB of graphic card and 16 GB ram will be Good.

Don't even consider AMD cards here. V-Ray and Mental Ray (especially the latter) has CUDA support only. It will perform poorly in AMD cards, that too the ones like 7770 and 7790.

Try getting a gtx 660 as bare minimum for the purpose, since you'd want to play games too.

Try getting a gtx 660 as bare minimum for the purpose, since you'd want to play games too.

But his budget is only 50k only and if he goes for Intel RIG with nvidia card like GTX660 then total comes close to 63k+....
I suggest to go for GTX650 Ti Boost which retails at 13,400 in flipkart.com

AMD RIG TOTAL -52400.
INTEL RIG TOTAL -59000.
If nvidia card is added then the above total comes.

^^Nvidia is a must here since he's using mental ray. It does not have open-cl support.

AMD is not an option for Mental Ray and V-Ray. Nvidia is the default choice here.
Go for Quadro if you can.

Get this:

Its based on kepler architecture and should suffice your workload.

P.S - Sorry bro don't go for the above card. That's based on the old fermi architecture. Go for the following instead.

^^ If you can get the above config, then go ahead. Remember though, gaming will completely go out of the window.
You can do all the gaming on the config mentioned in your siggy.

Professional cards are recommended for rendering work anytime over gaming cards.

btw here is some recommendation for decreasing price...
