logon and shutdown problem

well my pc had started to have a slow shutdown but now it has become very slow, takes around 1and half or 2 min to shutdown and also takes time to log off. m usin sp1. please help

Should have posted your configuration first.

Anyway, disable unwanted startup items and services.

Alternatively, scan your hard drive, for viruses and spy ware.

type msconfig in START >> RUN remove unwanted startup

try reg scanner to remove unwanted registry

diseble antivirus in case internet is not on and u r not working any external media
