LINUX: NOT CLICKING...

In the zone
I recently burnt the live CD of knoppix from the Digit DVD...the thing is that knoppix is not recogonising my mouse clicks although the pointer moves flawlessly...iam using the cordless mouse given by HP pavilion t560i...what might be the problem??

Attach a normal mouse and see if it works. If it does, then the problem is with the cordless one.

Have you heard about drivers ? Linux and windows have diffrent drivers so if a device works in windows means that the driver for the device is there in windows. The device not working in linux means that the device is not recognised by the OS and needs a driver for the same. So go on the net look for a driver based on the distr used and the hardware download it and install it.
