LAn problem.....

ok i am using windows xp sp2.... dont know about lan much.......

when i go to view the computers on my lan... sometimes.. they just dont open up.... (i mean the files are not displayed an error sayng " the netwrok path is not assecible"//////////

its a chance phenomenon ..... somtimes everything goes fine and i am able to view the share soometimes i am not able to........

i tried using linux..... it works fine everytime...........

what can be the prob?????

Are you on the same workgroup as the other computers? Have you set the right share priviledges?

i myself dont share any files.... and yeah we are in the same workgroup.........

sometimes i am able to view my friends shares and sometimes i get an error that i dont have the required priveleges....
