u c the big diff n there may be one advantage that ur browser never runs java applications so there is no possibility of any java pplication to run automatically on ur machine from a website, n harm.

It's better u use the noscript extension, if you want to turn off javascript. U can add websites you want to allow javascripts to an allow list, like Gmail (Its by default added)

If u disable java and javascript ur system security is enhanced !
Certain sites that ask for java and js wont run!
But anyway if u have ur system security beefed up enough, then u should enable javascript and java! I would recommend javascript enabled! If Java is disabled u cant gmail, play yahoo games etc!
