we know that win xp is a multi processor system(supports more than one processor on mother board)
my question is how many processors can winxp support at a time

It has nothing to do with XP capabilities. It has to do with H/W support. And why do you want this information ? Could you provide a lil more clarity plz.

they are confused by the ht technology itself
thats what its supposed to do

thats y it reports 2 processors

as raven says either rahul is confused abt HT or want to know if XP supports multi processor.

as EULA reads..

* Installation and use. You may install, use, access,
display and run one copy of the Product on a single
computer, such as a workstation, terminal or other device
("Workstation Computer"). The Product may not be used
by more than two (2) processors at any one time on any
single Workstation Computer.

the sony ericsson p900 has two processors:

32-bit RISC ARM9 156 mHz (the same as p800)
But according to the official site "The P900 is geared up with two powerful processors". We don't know the type or speed of the second processor yet, but it's probable that its function is to help top multimedia applications like fullscreen video playing or 3D gaming OR maybe, as seen in other recent smartphones, it's just for phone/voice functions only

i got this from *www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/products_p900_p800comparison.shtml

but this discussion abt fones should b in another post i think
