Ipod & Flac format

Hi,

I managed to collect very good quality, Flac format, songs for some movies and i wanted to transfer to my Ipod. but the damn thing doesnt recognize this format. I would want to have the conversion of Flac to mp3 as the last option. has any1 played flac in ipod ? is there any additional plugin or something we can install to make it recognize the format. Ipod really sucks with these features for a "music/video" player!!

LAME can convert it to MP3, use it.

hey there... i have the same combo (ipod and flac) as you. you can convert the flac to apple lossless. this .mp4 file will be around the same size as the flac with no loss in quality but it can play on ipod. thats why its called apple lossless. the name of the application which will convert from flac to apple lossless is called DBpoweramp. download the latest version of that software. and then download the apple lossless codec and you're ready to go...
