ipod asshole

hey guys i got an ipod shuffle 512mb yesterday
first of all i charged it at about 3 hrs and tranferred songs thru itunes everything was going smooth till there but when i take it out from comp
and press play button it dint play
greelight was on and i tried pressing play button for 3sec which shud
work as hold button what shud i do now
does my ipod has a defect
or is my procedure isnt correct if it is not please tell me what u did when u bought it

u posted the same topic in reviews section which has been deleted

now the problem is u screwed up the firmware of ur iPod
goto start => alll programs => iPod
run iPod updater from the ipod updater folder present

connect ur iPod to ur computer
and click on restore
this will format ur iPod and restore factory default settings


now disconnect it
and connect it again
itunes should come up again
make a play list
then click on ur ipod in itunes in the source section
at the bottom u will see autofill and autofill from
select the playlist u just made
and click on autofill !
this should update ur iPod with all ur songs

DONT FORGET TO EJECT UR IPOD BEFORE DISCONNECTING IT FROM THE COMPUTER !!!!!

the eject button is at the bottom right of iTunes
or right next to where it says ur iPod in the source section

AFTER U EJECT MAKE SURE THE IPOD DISAPPEARS FROM UR ITUNES

it is now safe to disconnect ur iPod

while u do this the iPod should be off ( i dun think this makes a diff but still do that )

once disconnected , put ur iPod on
the green LED should glow and go off
then press play
again the green LED should glow and go off

the green LED continuously glowing means there is a problem with ur iPod which u are facing already !
