im having this prob:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: urlmon.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1106 Offset: 00004f10

using win 98...explorer hangs with this ,message...

People have made a habit. For most of ie probs. soln cannot always be spywares.
Download correct version of urlmon.dll from *www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?urlmon
or reinstall Windows or repair ie from add\remove programs menu.

@navjot, so ppl have also made a habit that reinstalling windows or that particular program will help...

if anybody knows other soln than antispyware, hijackthis, reinstall ie than please post now.

For the prob. downloading urlmon.dll will not help as your version of ie is 6 SP1. Download all latest patches of 98. Also reinstall ie6 sp1 will surely resolve the prob. My gurantee mr. drgrudge. It is a correct, non-technical, safe & user friendly solution.
