I recently formatted my disk and reloaded Windows Xp on to it.

After that i have noticed that my dial up connection speed has decreased tremendously.

Is there any particular reason behind this drastic fall.

I use the MTNL postpaid dial up which is available in Bombay.

Please do help.


I also get an error some times that the device connected to your system is not fuctioning .

Is there any connection between the reload of windows xp to this or am I just imagining.

Are there any settings that will help me increase the speed.

DID U INSTALLED DRIVRS for UR MODEM ???

Make sure u always have latest drivers for all your hardware !
