i use win 98 on C:\ (primary dos )(FAT32)
and XP on D:\(Extended Dos)(FAT32)
E:\ (logical drive 5.5GB)(FAT32) (fully free)
H:\ (Logical drive 6.8 GB)(FAT 32)(IDE HDD)(fully free)
i tried installing ubuntu in expert mode.. everything was OK but after finishing the partition table , during installation ubuntu gives an error that
it cant find any root file in the specified directory(E;\ or /media/hda6)

also
i tried another method and created 2.1GB seperate partition, using "PARTION AND USE THE FREED SPACE" option.. but it again ended with an error saying "No swap space"
Can anyone help me? please give the entire installation procedure in this
situation.

also im having some questions
*how to set a partition for ubuntu installation...
*what r the commands should i give?

im having original ubuntu 5.1 bootable CD.

thank you...
