Installing Drivers for SAMSUNG SC 152G CD-ROM

Can anybody help me in installing the latest drivers for my SAMSUNG SC 152G CD-ROM Drive.
I guess it's a manual install.

Drivers for CD drive r usually installed in win 9x OS.

WHY????

When u boot into MS-DOS mode, u can't access CD drive, but if u hv installed CD drivers, u can access ur CD drive easily.....

I use Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 with all critical updates installed. I checked the www.samsung-odd.com and found that there is a latest version for my Drive but i have to manually install. Also when i copy files from CD-ROM to Hard disk the write speed is very slow usually 1MB/sec.

i think yr DMA is disabled.. as XP does not rqeuire drive for the CD ROM (unless some special features are provided... as creative used to do).

try enabling it. is get disabled autromatically if the drive can not read from CD Rom for couple of times (if u try with CD with scratches or not burned properly one... )
