Immediate Help - Wi-Fi networking

Hi Frnds

I have a laptop and an always on internet connection through LAN card. My friend lives in another room besides me and he also wants an internet connection. We thought to share the connection as the connection is quite costly.
So my question is, can we share the net connection by Wi-fi ?
Plz try to answer it quickly because he also needs internet very soon and this connection is turning out quite costly for me too.

I got the same situation on hand and kinda worked out the same solution, haven been able to try it so far as my friend has gone to his hometown. We have earlier used the Bluetooth Network to play Lan Games, now add ICS to the equations and see if you can share Internet through a Bluetooth connection. Do lemme know if it works for you.
